As someone who owns a lot of burgundy shirts, I can personally attest to the fact that one of the real benefits to this color of clothing is that you can spill red wine on it all you'd like & nobody will suspect you've been drinking since 9am yesterday (at least not because of any drips or drops that might've landed on your chest while crushing boxed wine faster than a book club for menopausal divorcees, however, being found passed out half naked in a McDicks parking lot reeking of the unmistakable odor of shame & day old MCDoubles may lead to the more keen observer to question the state of your sobriety. It doesnt matter how much burgundy you have on, if theres a color that can cover for that many poor choices, I certainly haven't found it).
