Β Β Lightweight round neck sweater with a futuristic cut that uses a tone-toned French terry color pallette to emphasize it's paneled design. With notable wide angled corners on the front, stacked pleats down the spine & a thick drawstring encircling the waist, all of which are hallmarks of a more casual futuristic design, it shouldn't be a surprise this sweater was inspired by the fits worn by Sigourney Weaver's character,Β Ellen Ripley, in the first 3 films in theΒ AliensΒ franchise. The grounded sci-fi industrial style worn by the entire crew of the ship in those original films were what inspired a love of the futuristic blue-collar-core (my word, I invented it) that has lasted to this day. This style has since only grown in popularity & has recently been expanded upon by Craig Green's eponymous label, & by Tuff Leung who foundedΒ Hamcus, a notable cornerstone of the genre.Β
