    When I was 10 years old I got the game Rollercoaster Tycoon in a box of cereal (yeah, video games used to come in cereal boxes, life was better back then) and am I prepared to say that the most fun I've ever had playing a video game was with an outdated PC game I found in a box of Froot Loops? Yes, I am, by a pretty healthy margin too. Watching those little characters puke after riding a roller-coaster I'd designed with 65 loop-de-loops then watching others leave my park because I neglected to hire any janitorial staff to clean up the quickly growing puke puddles brought me more joy than I'd ever thought possible. If I had to rank video games in terms of how much pure joy they brought me I'd say Luigi's Mansion is probably 2nd followed by COD 4: Modern Warfare in 3rd. Is it a coincidence that the top 2 are games I played at 10 years old? Probably not, I mean it's hard to be pessimistic or cynical when simply pronouncing those words would've likely been a significant hurdle.
